I was playing the game and feeling a bit meh about it but then I did some WvW and really enjoyed it, has a very DAoC feeling and gave me a reason to level.  The nice thing is leveling seem linear all the way up, or at least that is what Cern is telling me!  Also because GW2 does things subtly different it does feel odd to start with, still I am enjoying it alot more now, just need to make time to actually play

I think alot of the weapon abilities, at least for Warrior seem focused around PvP rather than PvE, so that was one of the reasons I wasn't grabbed to start with, over all I am enjoying myself and thinking now I have a game I might play for awhile I might upgrade my pc as it is that time again!  Then maybe I can take screenies as nice as eKo's!

yus, upgrade your pc. And Cern, eko, Brigh upgrade yours too I had my core 2 duo for ages (they were bloody good machines, even if vista made me crash allot!!) but did upgrade at the start of the year. Have nothing special (i5 3.3ghz and 8GB RAM, gfx card is a geforce 560ti), but I wonder if I have the best spec PC ? (you slackers?)

Then stop wasting your lovely new PC on playing Angry Birds and Farmville and put it to good use in GW2 before it becomes obsolete

Would love to upgrade my PC but funds are too tight at the moment so having to make this one last. Really its only the processor which is the weak-ish link, an old Q6600 quad core. The 8GB ram and Geforce GT260 still stands up quite well in most games.

My pc needs an upgrade for sure, however I only need a new cpu, mobo and RAM; as I am running an E8400 dual core and 4 gigs of 800mhz RAM.  I also have a 560ti geforce that is being held up by everything else and my PSU is a beast, something like 800W silver or gold rated.  I think I'll only need to spend about ?400 this time round, though I haven't checked current prices to confirm.

I upgraded my PC just after Xmas earlier this year and got a Intel Core I3 and 8GB of ram along with a GeForce GTX 560 which seems to be handling itself ok

My PC isn't exactly new either, got an aging Core2Duo E6850 (@3Ghz) along with 4Gb RAM (@1Ghz) and a Geforce GTX 560 Ti (which I only changed because I was having issues with my Radeon 4870 increasingly losing the signal). Having my own place means having much less disposable income unfortunately .
