hehe, i did exactly the same as you, and just as you said having now played ME2 i thin I'd reconsider some of those choices. In fact I might even go along with the whole Cerberus thing more willingly next time :D

I just completed ME2 for a second time as Infiltrator (I imported my ME1 Infiltrator). I played on Veteran difficulty this time, was a lot of fun again. I might have a crack at Insanity mode, but think I'd prefer a different game.

Are there any other games out there similar to Mass Effect or Dragon Age?

Well the obvious one to say is Knights of the Old Republic, and its sequel. Depends how much you like/hate Star Wars I guess and they may have dated somewhat (especially the original KOTR as thats what ... 6 years old now?). Awesome games though, bet you can pick them up for nearly nothing.

I'd also recommend Fallout 3 if you didn't catch it the first time around? It's much like ME2 in that it is a sci fi combo RPG/Shooter with some great story elements. It took a while for me to get properly into it but once I did I really loved it.
