SW:TOR is the only MMO I'm really looking forward to. Developed by Bioware and supposedly being more story-driven than any other MMO I've got high hopes for it. I kinda wonder how (if) they'll prevent everyone from just playing a Jedi Knight or Jedi Consular. I mean: Trooper, Smuggler or Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular, hmmm ... :).

grrrrr, don't start that one again ;) Stupid WAR custom title and useless GOA !

Agree about SWTOR, it seems to be shaping up nicely but then again pre-game hype has often left me disappointed post release :) As you say though it will be interesting how they'll keep the jedi powers in check against the other classes, Star Wars Galaxies struggled with this problem loads. However, don't underestimate the number of wannabie Han Solo's ;)

I doubt I cold get into Star Wars tbh, I am more down with fantasy ... A friend of mine has started Star Trek and likes it, but I am not sure about his judgement tbh  :D

SWG has only 4 classes sounds crap to me ;p

There's 8 classes, 4 on the dark side too :)

For me Star Wars is deffo the one that takes me back to being a kid, watching empire strikes back and return of the jedi for the first time was just such an awesome experience when I was 8/10 years old. Shame they feked up the recent films though, don't really rate any of them.

I did try to get into Star Wars Galaxies but it just wasn't implemented very well and ended up being another grindfest, besides the star wars aspect I'm hoping that Bioware will bring some new ideas to the table and revitalise MMO's a bit, after all I love their games - though from what you said about DA:O Sax perhaps you don't really rate them so highly. Anyways, its the only MMO I'm really looking forward to, unless a new Hello Kitty Island Adventure is on the cards??? ;)

SWTOR does look nice, I've always liked the Star Wars universe and until a few years ago I had all the books and games - like others I tried SWG and although I played it for a couple of months it just didn't do anything for me and I was left disappointed - luckily I had games like DAOC, WoW and Planetside to cheer me up :)

In the meantime I think some of you slackers should come check out DAoC :P
