Damnit I felt that we had the advantage of numbers :(

After playing Prydwen I prefer being the underdog, always more ppl to kill that way, and with an almost 2:1 ratio it means we might not always be able to get the into the BG's as they are going to make it so both sides are roughly balanced ....

Oh dear. Well we are The Horde after all. But I'd hoped for a more balanced server. There seems to be a lot of Alliance activity, but obviously there must be even more Horde activity.
 
Strange how it works out. Everyone was saying Alliance would have the numerical superiority on all servers, and on checking that census it seems on many servers they have. Guess for some reason lots of Horde were attracted to Skullcrusher (maybe the server name had an influence?).
 
Perhaps it might even out over time, we'll have to see. Having played the underdog for so long on Prydwen I don't mind the tables being turned, as long as it doesn't get too out of hand (would like to see that 60:40 split dragged back towards 1:1).
 
Such a guild of undead btw ... :D

I actually expected Horde to be popular, especially on PvP servers. In SWG the rebels had the majority on every server, EXCEPT the Euro servers (Chimaera at least, not sure about Farstar) where the imperials had the majority. And the WoW posts/polls on prydwen.net seemed to indicate that a lot of people wanted to play Horde.

Our server might be the exception, but I guess Horde has the advantage on most PvP servers, while Alliance has the advantage on PvE servers. I'd have to look at more stats to see if there's any thruth, but it's what I expect.

Looking at the census for our sevrer there are three things i'd like to bring to ppl attention.

1).  It classes us as a PvE server, obviously wrong, everyone should know this from just listening to Feeron on /g  :D

2).  The population seems to ahve evened out almost over night, is this right, has there been tampering with the stats?

3).  There  would seem to be a 5th race on the horde side???

It's done by players running the census mod on both horde and alliance, and then feeding the results back to the website. This means you're never ever going to get 'definitive' answer on the population (unless Blizzard do something themseleves) but it does give a good guide.

Nice to see it evening up a bit.

Dunno about the 5th race ? :) There is one on alliance too :) Probably a GM?
