I've not managed to get online long enough to have a go at this yet.

What is the general opinion of the BG?

How's Alterac Valley play?
What about us lowbies?  Will there be enough for us to do?

What about the Warsong Gulch CTF?
Has anyone tried this with a guild group yet?

Will we be starting a regular WG / AV guild event at any point?

Also - where's the entrance to WG?  I spotted the AV entrance when killing 100s of spiders in Tarren Mill area for a single item drop...  No idea where the other is.

What is the general opinion of the BG? Fun but queue's are a pain in the rear

Shorter queue's (sometimes). Hit and miss with the matches, you can get put against an alliance guild group of 10 who wtfpwn! you in three minutes. Better when it's more open and the alliance is more stupid ! Did this with a few guildies and it went better.

It's possible, but the way the queue's work hinder this quite a bit. For Warsong i think you need a group of 10, or maybe try your luck as a group of 5. AV could be fun if we all have the patience to queue to get in. Biggest problem is once your group joins the queue and another memeber gets added you have to rejoin the queue, so it really doesn't work very well if a guildie comes online and you want to add them in.

We've been doing offhand get togethers in both BGs since they've opened. Not sure we can really arrange a 'formal' event as have no clue if we'd get in :(

Its in the barrens, at the crossover to ashenvale.

The battlegrounds themselves are quite fun .... once you manage to get in. And that's the main problem, the long queues. In the long term the lack of variety of gameplay in the BGs could be a problem, unless they add some extra types. But right now just getting into one is a novelty in itself :)

The proposed shortcuts to the BGs in the next patch won't help much from what I hear about how they're planned (Horde will still have to catch a zepellin for Alterac Valley and Alliance will still have to catch a boat for Warsong Gulch).

As for guild groups, well in theory if we had a 10-person raid group we should be able to open a new Warsong Gulch instance immediately and then just wait for enough Alliance to arrive to play against us - but therein lies the problem ..... it could be a long wait.
