Hey guys,

Anyone know if Virgin internet is any good? They are doing this awesome deal for TV, Phone, and Internet for ?30 a month atm ... or anyone know any good sites where users rate providers?

I'm with Virgin and do the 3 x ?30 package - although I have got a higher bandwith which costs a few more quid a month although will soon be downgrading to the standard broadband speed as I don't think internet speed has any effect on how wel your game plays (ping etc).

If you are in a cable area then it is a good alternative to using BT.

Was a good install as well, although if you have a front garden they may need to dig part of it up to run the cable from the pavement.

Will check that out later when I get home ... not in a cable area atm, tbh BT wifi works awesome had very very few problems with it over the last 2 and a half years but the virgin deal will save a fair amount of cash, only problem is you lose Sky 1 as well ... given how often I watch TV I guess I can live with that ...

Yeah I was annoyed with Virgin losing Sky One but then again I only used sky 1 for Battlestar Galactica which I just download myself so not that bothered.

If you aren't in a cable area then you won't be able to go with Virgin!
