Alts

Hello

Anyone got any alts they want to level - I currently have an OP shaman at lvl16 (I think). I don't think I will be playing my warrior much until TBC - can't be bothered grinding honour and tokens for items that well be replaced in TBC.

My alt called Shadrack is a member of RoD and think I will keep him there rather than move him to Legion INC.

I think I need some company as I forgot how boring The Barrens is with the crappy drop rate quests

hehe, well the only alt i have is my rogue who i mostly just play for some fun. He's level 43 though - happy once you have levelled up a bit to group up etc, but i have nothing else I'm afraid. I'll let you know if i roll anything else though

I plan to pvp a reasonable (but nowhere near insane) amount once the patch comes in. Though i have some pretty decent items on las there are a few that will be nice to replace the odd crappy item i still have, but mostly I'm taking the view that they will at least give us a decent start in TBC (though i do know where you're coming from, from all reports by level 65 or so the items will be outdated).

Remember though its a bit less of a grind as you can pretty much do it at your leisure. I'd also like it if we could group up a bit more for some pvp sessions, would be kinda fun with all of us... You dont even have to buy anything, as I understand it you can save up the honour for things later on ?

As anything though, play for fun - and dont grind

Sure, I won't do WC cos I'll prolly fall asleep, and that might affect my tanking, but I'd love to get a grp together and run through SFK (Shadow Fang Keep) which is one of my favourite instances along with the Depths? in the Zoram Strand.

We're pretty close in lvl atm, but once patch comes in I'll also be zerging ... er ... PvP'ing with the other 7 million WoW players  So dunno how long that will last.

One other thing to the alt+add-on-holics out there.  I seem to have installed a add-on which has removed my xp bar (bartender I think) so I don't know where I am with regards lvl'n, can anyone recommend a good xp add-on?  I tried Fubar2+xpFu, but they didn't work for me and I couldn't find any kinda command to bring it up.

Well i'm level 18 now, hopefully 19 tonight.

I'm not that familiar with the instances anymore on Horde as not been in them for a loooooong time.

Don't use any xp bars myself apart from Titan which gives semi useful stats.

Shadowfang keep is really cool :-) I remember wiping there many a time. So much better than WC, and some pretty nice drops for it's level. Though the end fight is hard iirc :-)

I use Fubar sax - no issues with it. I use the menu though to access all the functions so I'm not sure what problems you're having ?

Perhaps we should farm Shadowfang for some nice twinks and then enter the lvl19 WSG BG lol

I'll be spending the next few nights in the instances getting some nice loot for my alt, just need to work out what to use my respec for!

I hit WSG about a half dozen times yesterday afternoon and had some fun.  There r some insanely twinked alts in there but on the whole it was still alot of fun

I'll be on tonight but prolly not until 10:00-ish as I have swimming earlier in the evening.

I'll be going into Shadowfang Keep tonight to see if I can get some nice items, if any nice mail/weapon drops then I can send them to your alt. What weapon does he use or trained in ?
