Colombia

Hey folks,

Most of you prolly don?t know but I am in Colombia atm and am close to the end of my holiday, its been mostly enjoyable ... done some awesome DH on a Mountain Bike in the pre-Andiam mountains, seen some cool stuff, caved, rafted, got absieling, and paragliding yet to come 

Not had any trouble yet, no Farq issues or Para-Military problems and the ppl are helpful even if I don?t have a clue what they are saying (thank god my bird speaks Spanish!!).  The crappy parts where 4 days spent in Bogota, what a hole that is, I actively don?t like the place and getting ill with Vomiting and Diaorhea (sp?) whilst in the jungle -quote "If you lose it in there your in a world of hurt" Can anyone name that film? 

Anyway, just through I?d upate you all to my adventures as its pretty quiet here.  Now I wanna hear what Eko and Ygg are up to, apparently they are in Peru about now

Thanks for dropping us a line, sounds like you're having fun in the main apart from that 'orrible ill part ! Sounds like an action packed holiday for sure !

Nice one Sax. I was feeling jealous up until the part about being holed up in Bogota (sounds like material for a book or screenplay) and body fountains from both ends

My hols this year were somewhat more sedate - two weeks in Cornwall fishing and exploring with camera in hand. Lots of photos which I'll link to soon as I've sorted and uploaded some of them.

I'm back now from 2 weeks in Ecuador. Did a tour there for the first week, mainly in the mountains, but also spent a day in Puyo which is known as the gate to the Amazonia. Then there was the wedding of my cousin and jeez do they like to dance there . Also spent 4 days with my cousin, his wife and her brother at the coast, near Esmeraldas where it was damn hot and Yggy and me got burned to a crisp . It was a great trip, beatiful country and extremely friendly people all around, shame it's over so soon.

Still sorting through all the pictures I made, will post some at a later date.

but this year i'll prolly stick with beach in Tunisia and then Israel where my friend's getting married
