Good to hear from you Cern :)

I'm not playing to much at the moment, mainly because my PC won't run new games so just mucking around playing things like Mass Effect etc.

I hope in the future another game might come along that brings us back together as it'll be good to catch up!

Appreciate you keeping these old forums running Cern!

It's very very weird stepping back I have to admit :)

So was I when I came across it, the private server is free but it's by far the largest classic one although it has just added New Frontiers (nothing else though).

Link to it is here if interested - https://playphoenix.online/

It takes about 20 hours game play (solo) to get to max level thanks to the bonuses setup

As for the screenshots I need to locate them again, spotted them on an old hard-drive

Hey Las, good to hear from you

I'm sure I came across those movies on youtube a few months ago but could be mistaken.

I created a new DAOC char on the Phoenix shard (free to play old school DAOC) and it was great fun exploring all the old places again!

Hey all

Was browsing through an old hard drive the other day and came across some DAOC screenshots I must have taken years ago so it brought back some great memories.

I thought I'll post to see how everyone is? I know I've spoken to a few people in WoW or PS2 over the years but what is everyone upto nowadays?

I did enjoy it but not to sure on how long I could play it for before becoming very bored.

I'll probably wait a few weeks before looking to purchase it and see what some of the reviews say.

For now I'll carry on with Planetside2 and continue to wait for Mass Effect

Indeed :)

Good to hear you are ok, I'm still mucking around on Planetside 2 and playing Battlefront on the PS4 - waiting for Mass Effect as well, loved the other games so hoping this will be alright as well.

Hey All

If anyone has a PS4 let me know as I've got some invites for the closed beta of For Honour (I refuse to call it For Honor!).

I've been keeping an eye on this game and I do like the idea so if the beta is any good I might consider getting it on release.

It will be for the PS4 though as my I doubt my current PC rig can handle anything more than solitaire (although Planetside 2 still seems to run ok)!

great review eko - probably going to have to get this for the PS4 to do it justice as my PC can just run it but I suspect it will struggle.

love to get my kids into video games but the wife is anti-tech when it comes to children so they just have to settle for wooden blocks lol

Just wondering if anyone was going to get this?

I was thinking of getting the PS4 version but now might wait a few more days for the PC version - seems it will run on a low spec rig which is good for once!

gives Jabba a run for his money for the largest character :)

Might have to re-activate him for a blast

Anyways worth a look imo Cern/eko/Brigh if you ever thought about heading back.

I'll have to resurrect my fat bounty hunter!

WoW General / World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor
« on: April 10, 2015, 10:02:22 am »
On the off chance that people still check these boards me, Shin and Cern are still playing WoW - I've recently brought the Warlords of Draenor expansion and I must say I'm very imrpressed, I quickly leveled a character from level 1 to level 60 then used the free boost to level 90 (you can use this from a level 1 character but I wanted to look at the old world after cataclysm), and so far I'm enjoying it.

Level 90 to 100 wasn't to hard and there are clear zones/waypoints to help you get there and along with the ability of having your own garrison (which you can customise however you like) makes this expansion stand out.

I've been level 100 for a couple of weeks now and I still have plenty of things to do i.e. trying out the battle pet system and treasure hunting.

If anyone is looking for something to play then it would be good to see you online - Horde - Skullcrusher server (PVP)
