Hehe yeah, I searched for it on Spotify and the rest of the album indeed isn't as good.

Oh, and I remembered this video which I also found impressive (in a totally different way): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK_vxwizz-4&list=UUZpWElj6E_4U0enPszdwCQw&index=13.

Great vids and the song from the first one is awesome. While its all incredibly impressive, it feels like you have to be insane to try some of those stunts ;D.

I'm actually liking Darksiders 2, it even spurred me on to finish the first game! It is a console game though (playing it with my PS3 controller which is way easier than keyboard + mouse) with some light RPG elements tacked on, but at least I manage to finish those unlike most RPG's (still haven't finished The Witcher 2). And since I disliked Oblivion, I never got Skyrim either.

Not sure if there's much worthwhile coming out soon, I still have more than enough games I've never finished anyway ;).

Great Sax, I went to South America (Ecuador) once I really loved it there. Would like to explore more of South America one day (though I'd have to learn Spanish ;).

I quit playing GW2 since no one was playing it anymore. Instead I've finished X-COM (only on normal difficulty mind you) and started catching up on some series like Firefly (awesome series, can't believe I waited so long to watch it), Breaking Bad (really great too) and Boardwalk Empire (Season 3 isn't as good the previous 2, it's somewhat more standard gangster fare).

Gaming wise I've started playing older game I never finished: Valkyria Chronicles (easily one of the best PS3 games), Uncharted 3 (grr@shooting with a controller), Red Faction Guerrilla & Lost Planet Extreme Edition (got those in a Steam Sale sometime ago and while they're not great they're at least entertaining enough to want to finish them). Still have Assassin's Creed Revelations to play through as well :P. Would've liked Borderlands 2, Torchlight 2 & Assassin's Creed 3, but got so many games I never finished I want to play those first (and I'd be able to pick up Borderlands 2 & AC3 for cheap later on) ;D.

Not tried PS2 since it launched, how is apart from being laggy?

Then maybe I can take screenies as nice as eKo's!
Unless you take screenies of me, they'll never be as nice ;D.

My PC isn't exactly new either, got an aging Core2Duo E6850 (@3Ghz) along with 4Gb RAM (@1Ghz) and a Geforce GTX 560 Ti (which I only changed because I was having issues with my Radeon 4870 increasingly losing the signal). Having my own place means having much less disposable income unfortunately ::).

Here's one of my Asura Warrior wielding a 2-handed sword.

Yeah, I pre-ordered it since I knew I'd play it anyway ;). Started on Gunnars Hold as a guildie said he'd play over there.

It feels I spent most of my time in the character generator (/wave Las) rather then playing though, but what I played so far was fun, especially the Asura quests. Combat felt weird at first since your skills change depending on which weapon type you wield in mainhand & offhand and if you're underwater or not. The graphics are really nice and the animations especially are very smooth, such a change after SWTOR & The Secret World which both had much more stiff/wooden animations.

The PvE events are chaotic, but fun, seems almost impossible not to get a gold medal unless you joined near the end. So far I'm really enjoying it.

Played a bit last night (Elani - VS - EU Beta 01) and didn't have a clue what I was doing ;D. Got killed a few times, managed to kill myself and think I killed someone else as well, but was just running around like a headless chicken. Guess I'll have to head to the beta forums for a little guidance :).

Signed up for the beta while looking at the link and got my invite for the closed beta yesterday. Didn't play yesterday, but just had a look and the starter area does look the same as in PS1, except with updated graphics. Will try to get some playtime this evening and keep you updated (even though there's an NDA) ;D.

And eko, no idea how you get through that...make yourself reaaaalllly thin ? :)

Can't see it well in the picture, but there's a path trough it (ahead left), but that's rather easy to spot. The laserwires on the ground you have to jump over are sometimes easy to miss and then they go BOOM!

Their State of the Game update looks promising, but we'll have to wait if they can deliver those promises in a short timeframe. I do find it very reassuring they have loads of things planned for the game. I read somewhere they kept (or wanted to keep) the whole development team after launch, so the team is as big now post-launch as it was during development.

I'm still totally drawn in even though I'm going slowly, still haven't reached Egypt (mainly because I want to finish all the Blue Mountain quests first).

Some quests also take place in the dark, though they usually give you a hat with integrated flashlight for extra creepyness.
