Ok, the problem is i cannot create a new thread in the Private Area of RoD, seems i can post elsewhere ....

Seems to be ok for posting in Private Forum. Is this with Mozilla or also with IE? Try with IE and see how you get on. Might be a cookie thing.

I have used Mozzila and IE at home and IE at work, neither seem to want me to post :(

Actually I can't post in the private section anymore either, can view it fine, I get the edit window when clicking on reply, but nothing happens when clicking on the 'submit reply' button.

Will test if it's only on reply's or on starting new threads as well.

You didn't put it into moderation mode, so that you have to approve every post before it appears?

Using IE doesn't make any difference, still can't post in the private forum, but just noticed it does upgrade my post count somehow. :p

That forum isn't set to be moderated or anything, just has access limited to the Ravens usergroup. I've reset a few things, try again now.

Ok, I'll correct that. There's a shedload of messages to the private Forum awaiting moderation (yet that section isn't set to be moderated). I'll release them and look into it some more.

Ok, it should all be sorted now. I'd introduced a glitch in the way permissions were set up. Hopefully should all be able to post in the private forums now.
